Ze slapen dag en nacht, gemiddeld 16 van de 24 uur. Hij slaapt 3-4 uur per keer, min of meer geregeld door zijn voedingsbehoeften.  <\/p><p>Ze wisselen tussen twee slaaptoestanden: rusteloos en kalm, die respectievelijk overeenkomen met de REM-slaap en de diepe trage slaap<em>.<\/em> Hun slaapcycli zijn kort, tussen 50 en 60 minuten (90 tot 120 minuten bij volwassenen). Heb je er ooit van gehoord? <\/p><p>Allereerst is de afwisseling van natuurlijk licht overdag en duisternis &#8216;s nachts essentieel. <em>&#8220;Deze invloed is al heel vroeg zichtbaar: een vergelijkende studie van &#8220;goede&#8221; en &#8220;slechte&#8221; slapers van 6 weken oud toonde aan dat de goede slapers aanzienlijk regelmatiger werden blootgesteld aan daglicht<\/em>,&#8221; benadrukt Dr. Marie-Jos\u00e8phe Challamel. <\/p><p>Het geven van sociale tijd is ook heel belangrijk: vanaf <strong>de neonatale periode<\/strong> zouden ouder en kind overdag meer interactie moeten hebben dan &#8216;s nachts.<\/p><p>Vanaf de eerste levensmaanden worden andere synchronisatoren essentieel: de regelmaat van de maaltijden en het geleidelijk verdwijnen ervan tijdens de nacht; de regelmaat van de tijd die besteed wordt aan wandelen en sociale contacten; iets later, de regelmaat van dutjes, bedtijden en vooral het &#8216;s ochtends wakker worden. Bij kinderen kan het niet respecteren van deze tijdgevers leiden tot grote<strong> verstoringen in het slaap\/waakritme<\/strong>, soms resulterend in een volledige omkering van het dag\/nachtritme. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-30e429db e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"30e429db\" data-element_type=\"container\" id=\"section4\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a34ddcd elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a34ddcd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Als je kind niet goed slaapt, zorg er dan voor dat de organisatie van zijn dutjes past bij zijn leeftijd.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-279bcbd4 no-margin elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"279bcbd4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>s Avonds gemakkelijk in slaap vallen en de hele nacht doorslapen hangt af van<strong>hoe de slaap<\/strong> overdag<strong>georganiseerd is<\/strong>. De overgrote meerderheid van baby&#8217;s van 6 maanden doet drie dutjes (ochtend, vroege namiddag, late namiddag). Het <strong>dutje<\/strong> in de late namiddag verdwijnt meestal tussen 9 en 12 maanden, en het dutje in de ochtend tussen 15 en 18 maanden. Huilen is hun enige manier om de aandacht van hun ouders te trekken, om aan te geven dat ze honger of dorst hebben of dat ze vastgehouden moeten worden. Overmatig huilen kan voorkomen bij sommige perfect gezonde baby&#8217;s. Het is een veel voorkomende aandoening die meestal verdwijnt. Dit ontwaken, waarbij het kind enkele seconden of minuten wakker is, gebeurt bij elke cycluswisseling. Het aantal neemt af van gemiddeld 8 per nacht met 3 maanden (met een duur van 1 tot 10 minuten) tot 4-5 tussen 18 en 24 maanden. Dit is een pathologie die de slaap verstoort en de behandeling ervan zal de slaapproblemen doen verdwijnen. De slaap voor middernacht is over het algemeen heel stabiel, maar vanaf middernacht worden ze wakker. Deze late bedtijden gaan vaak gepaard met nachtelijke ontwaakmomenten en een slaaptekort dat de overprikkelbaarheid van het kind overdag verhoogt, waardoor dutjes minder lang duren en de bedtijd nog langer uitgesteld wordt. Als je je baby te snel in je armen houdt om hem te kalmeren of te voeden, loop je het risico dat je zijn slaap onderbreekt en hem aanleert om helemaal wakker te worden in plaats van rustig verder te slapen.<\/em><\/p><p><em><u>Als je kind traag is met doorslapen, accentueer dan het dag\/nacht-contrast<\/u><\/em><em> Open &#8216;s ochtends de gordijnen op een vaste tijd en niet te laat. Praat overdag tegen je baby en neem hem mee voor een wandeling; doe geen dutje in het donker. Als je kind &#8216;s nachts huilt, haast je dan niet en geef hem de kans om zelf weer in slaap te vallen.<\/em><\/p><p><em><u>Vanaf de leeftijd van 6 maanden hoeft een gezonde baby &#8216;s nachts niet meer gevoed te worden.<\/u><\/em><em>Als je baby nog steeds &#8216;s nachts gevoed wordt: verminder geleidelijk het volume van de flessen; als je borstvoeding geeft, spreid dan de voedingen en verkort de duur ervan.<\/em><\/p><p><em><u>Tussen 1 en 5 jaar  <\/u><\/em><\/p><p><em><u>Regel hun waak-, slaap- en bedtijden<\/u><\/em><em>  Vanaf de leeftijd van 2 jaar kan er een verband zijn tussen een te lang of te laat dutje en te laat naar bed gaan. Te laat naar bed gaan (na 21.00 uur) kan leiden tot een kortere nachtrust van slechtere kwaliteit. Het is onmogelijk om een ideale bedtijd en wektijd te defini\u00ebren, want het is geen mythe dat er vroege slapers, vroege vogels en late slapers, kleine slapers en grote slapers zijn! Rekening houdend met deze profielen is de aanbevolen slaaptijd voor 1 tot 2 jarigen gedurende 24 uur tussen 11 en 14 uur; voor 3 tot 5 jarigen tussen 10 en 13 uur.   <\/em><\/p><p><i><u>Vermijd<\/u><\/i><em><u> overmatige stimulatie<\/u><\/em><em>Tot de leeftijd van 2-3 jaar mogen beeldschermen <\/em><em>alleen <\/em><em>worden gebruikt <\/em><em>in het bijzijn van een volwassene en gedurende een beperkte tijd (tussen 5 en 15 minuten per dag). Zet geen televisie aan in de kamer waar je kind speelt, ook al kijken ze er niet naar.
